    Lamb foreshank by Ovation are exquisite bone-in cuts derived from the leg part. Though this meat provides outstanding flavor, it demands slow-cooking methods like braising, slow-roasting, or sous vide cooking to attain tenderness.

    • Size: 3 shanks per pack, approximately 12-14oz. per shank
    • Cooking Suggestions: To prepare lamb shanks, slow-cook them until tender, either by slow roasting or first searing. For braising, sear the shank on all sides to create a crust and leave brown residues on the pan. Add a robust braising liquid and braise in the oven at 300 degrees for approximately two hours. Pair the shanks with various flavors like garlic, citrus, and herbs. They are best paired with sides like mashed potatoes, couscous, lentils, or beans, particularly flageolets or cannellini beans
