    L'oro Del Sud

Naples’ rich pasta making history has made it Italy’s Pasta making center. The people of Naples had been experts at producing handmade pasta, but pasta making was revolutionized when King Ferdinand II commissioned an engineer to develop a machine that could both knead and cut the pasta. This invention revolutionized the pasta making process, moving it out of the home and into the factory. Combined with Naples’ ideal weather conditions for creating the perfect pasta, the idyllic combination of manmade ingenuity and nature’s blessing served as the inspiration for L’Oro Del Sud’s name, which translates to Southern Gold.
