FamClub Terms & Conditions

These terms of use (“FamClub Rewards Terms”) are applicable to the Food Related’s pilot product subscription service (“FamClub Rewards”) operated by RJL Texas-International, LLC (“Food Related”) for select Food Related Customers. These FamClub Rewards Terms are subject to the Food Related Terms of Service found here. To join Fam Club Rewards, you must accept the Food Related Terms of Service.

Food Related offers two levels of FamClub Rewards: A Free Rewards account (also known as a “Famie”), and a Paid VIP Rewards account (also known as a “VIP Famie”). Food Related FamClub Rewards offers a suite of core rewards (as described in Sections 2 and 3 below, the “Rewards”), which, after any free trial period, can be made available to you through a monthly or annual subscription plan.

FamClub Rewards

  • Cancellation.  You may cancel your Food Related FamClub Rewards by emailing us at help@foodrelated.com, or through your Food Related FamClub Rewards account. There are no refunds for Food Related VIP Famie Rewards fees paid, except as expressly provided in these FamClub Rewards Terms. If you cancel Food Related VIP Famie Rewards, you can continue to use Food Related VIP Famie Rewards, until the end of your paid Food Related FamClub Rewards term. If you no longer wish to pay for VIP Famie Rewards you may switch to Free Famie Rewards. You will not lose your existing reward points as a result of switching to Free Famie Rewards.
  • Free Trial Offers.  You may cancel your Food Related VIP Famie Rewards at any time during your free trial. If you cancel during the free trial period, your VIP Famie account will immediately revert to a Free Famie account. Any rewards points gained during the free trial period will remain in your Free Famie account, but you will no longer have access to any VIP Famie benefits.
  • Automatic Renewal.  YOU MAY SELECT EITHER A ONE-MONTH OR A ONE-YEAR TERM FOR VIP FAMIE REWARDS (“TERM”). FOLLOWING ANY FREE TRIAL PERIOD, YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO ENTER A PAYMENT METHOD FOR THE INITIAL TERM. FOLLOWING THE INITIAL TERM, YOUR VIP FAMIE REWARDS SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW, AND WE WILL CHARGE ANY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WE HAVE ON FILE FOR YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL TERM AT THE FEE(S) THEN IN EFFECT PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAXES ON A RECURRING BASIS WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE TO YOU (EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT THAT NOTICE IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW) UNLESS AND UNTIL YOU NOTIFY FOOD RELATED OF YOUR DESIRE TO CANCEL YOUR VIP FAMIE REWARDS BY FOLLOWING THE CANCELLATION PROCESS DESCRIBED IN THE PARAGRAPHS ABOVE. To avoid being charged for a new term, you must cancel your FamClub Rewards subscription before the end of the current term. If you cancel, you can continue to use the Offered Rewards of your VIP Famie Rewards, until the end of your term.
  • Payment Method Requirement.  To maintain your VIP Famie Rewards after a free trial period or to sign up for VIP Famie Rewards, you must have at least one valid credit card or debit card on file at all times (a “Payment Method”). You can change your default Payment Method at any time. To remove all Payment Methods, you must cancel your VIP Famie Rewards Subscription.
  • Payment Resubmission.  If all Payment Methods we have on file for you are declined for payment of the applicable fee, you agree that we may resubmit the applicable fee for payment to your issuing bank(s). Any resubmission attempts will be made first to your default Payment Method, and then to other Payment Methods you have on file. Once payment is authorized by an issuing bank on a Payment Method on file, all other resubmissions will be discontinued. If, after all resubmissions, payment is still not authorized by your issuing bank(s), your VIP Famie Rewards Subscription will be automatically cancelled and your Rewards will end. You may have the ability to reactivate your VIP Famie Rewards subsequently through your Food Related account. Your new Term and Rewards will be based on the date that you reactivate your account.
  • Other Limitations.  We reserve the right to accept or refuse Food Related FamClub Rewards subscriptions at our discretion. Food Related Famies are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or delivery to their customers or potential customers using Food Related Rewards. From time to time, Food Related may choose in its sole discretion to add or remove Offered Rewards. Free trials of VIP Famie Rewards are limited to one per customer. You are limited to one account. Your account and FamClub Rewards subscription are personal to you. You may not transfer or assign to others your account or FamClub Rewards subscription, or any benefit of any kind. Moreover, reward points are not transferable and may not be combined or conveyed by any means to anyone, including through your estate, and may not pass to your successors and assigns and, as such, reward points are not transferable by you (i) upon death, (ii) as part of domestic relations proceedings, including divorce, or (iii) otherwise.
  • VIP Famie Rewards Fees.  You may cancel your Food Related VIP Famie Rewards at any time during your free trial. If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be able to use your Food Related VIP Famie Rewards and will lose the Rewards of the free trial immediately.
  • Terms and Conditions Changes.  We may at our discretion change these FamClub Rewards Terms or Offered Rewards, or any aspect of the FamClub Rewards program that is not material, without notice or liability to you. If any change to these FamClub Rewards Terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. YOUR CONTINUED ENROLLMENT AFTER WE CHANGE THESE FamClub REWARDS TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR FamClub REWARDS.
  • Termination by Us.  We may terminate your FamClub Rewards Subscription or participation in the Food Related Fam Club Rewards program at our discretion without notice or liability to you. If we do so, we will give you a full refund for any Term that has not yet expired. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, at our discretion, violates these FamClub Rewards Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of FamClub Rewards or participation in the Food Related FamClub Rewards program or is harmful to our interests or another user.

FamClub Offered Rewards

  • Free Curbside. Food Related offers free curbside order pickup at our Schertz warehouse located at 17401 Triton, Schertz, Texas 78154 to Food Related Famies. No minimum purchase is required. For more information about the details of curbside service, see the Curbside terms
  • Free FedEx Ground Shipping in Texas with $99 Order Minimum.  Free and VIP Famies residing in Texas will be eligible for free FedEx Ground Shipping on most products for orders with a minimum total price of $99. Free FedEx Ground Shipping is dependent upon inventory availability. Additionally, Free FedEx Ground Shipping is available only for customers residing in the state of Texas.   • Flat Rate Shipping Outside Texas with $99 Order Minimum.  Free and VIP Famies residing outside the state of Texas will be eligible for Flat Rate FedEx Ground Shipping on most products for orders with a minimum total price of $99. Flat Rate FedEx Ground Shipping is dependent upon inventory availability. Flat Rate FedEx Ground Shipping is available throughout the contiguous United States.   • Reward Points.  Once you have created an account and signed up to become a Food Related Famie, you will earn reward points equivalent to a percentage of your purchase. Free Famies will earn One Percent (1%) of the price of items purchased excluding sales tax. VIP Famies will earn Three Percent (3%) of the price of items purchased excluding sales tax. Reward points will be added to a Famie’s account based on the dollar amount earned, and one dollar is equivalent to 100 reward points. By way of example, if a Famie earns $1.25 from a Food Related purchase, the number of reward points added to the Famie’s account will be 125. Reward points can be redeemed by applying the points towards payment for your next purchase. When you complete an order towards which you apply your reward points, the reward points will be permanently deducted from your account.

Rewards Applicable to VIP Famie Rewards Only

  • Free Home Delivery in San Antonio, TX with $50 Order Minimum.  VIP Famies who reside in San Antonio can enjoy free home delivery through our Food Related Truck Delivery Truck service on most products for orders with a minimum total price of $50. Free home delivery is dependent upon inventory availability, available delivery time slots, and in some cases, the delivery address. We may also exclude products with special delivery characteristics at our discretion.   • Shop the Chef Size VIP Famies will be eligible for Shop the Chef Size (“STCS”), which will allow you to buy case and bulk sizes of Food Related products at discounted prices.
  • Other Ways to Earn and Redeem Reward Points. From time to time, Food Related may offer new and different ways for VIP Famies to earn and redeem points, including bonus campaigns or points accelerators. Food Related has the sole discretion to offer, change and terminate the different ways to earn and redeem points, including, for example, the points associated with bonus campaigns and accelerators. Sometimes earning and redeeming points may be subject to additional terms disclosed at the time of the offer.

Privacy and Terms of Use

  • All information provided by you will be handled in accordance with the Food Related Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By participating in the FamClub Rewards program you are also agreeing to the terms of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. In the event that the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service conflict with these FamClub Rewards Terms, these FamClub Rewards Terms will control.

Events Beyond our Control.

  • FOOD RELATED HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR FOOD RELATED’S FAILURE TO PERFORM ANY OF ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THESE FamClub REWARDS TERMS CAUSED BY OR RELATED TO ANY EVENT BEYOND FOOD RELATED’S REASONABLE CONTROL. If such an event occurs, then Food Related’s obligations under the FamClub Rewards Terms will be suspended for the duration of the event; and Food Related may, but is not required to, use reasonable endeavors to find a solution by which its obligations under these FamClub Rewards Terms may be performed despite the event.

Notice of Financial Incentives.

  • Under California law, certain aspects of the FamClub Rewards program, which provide Rewards to you, may be considered a financial incentive program. We collect personal information from you in connection with the FamClub Rewards program, e.g., contact information (name, email address, residential address, phone number) and commercial information (like purchase history) for a number of reasons, including to administer the FamClub Rewards program, contact you with regard to your Account (if any), to provide rewards to you, to better serve you, and to fulfill your requests associated with the FamClub Rewards program. To opt into the FamClub Rewards program, you will need to provide certain information, register for an account, agree to these FamClub Rewards Terms and otherwise follow the instructions associated with the FamClub Rewards program as further set forth herein. Participation in the FamClub Rewards program is voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time. To the extent that we provide reward points that may be considered a financial incentive because the FamClub Rewards program is directly or reasonably related to the collection, deletion or retention of personal information, the value is reasonably related to the overall value we receive from the personal information Famies provide specific to the FamClub Rewards program minus the costs and expenses we incur in providing the FamClub Rewards program.
